To All Brothers of Council 6189 that helped to make this year's KOVAR another great success:

I add my heartiest thanks and congratulations to those conveyed by Henry Castillo in his email.  This is the first year in recent memory that every time slot in every store was subscribed by members of the Council...this attests to the commitment of all the Brothers to this most worthy cause.  Vic, Rick D. and Buddy...THANK YOU!

A special thanks to Henry, Libby, and Kira for their dedication and commitment.  This is especially noteworthy since Henry is no longer even a member of the Ireton Council but, as you all know, has a special place in the hearts of his Brother Ireton Knights.  He will always be an honored Brother to us.

Vivat Jesus

Rick Brennan, GK

Membership Drive:  Ireton Council 6189 is actively seeking new members.  The Knights comprise a world-wide Order of Catholic men whose primary principal is Charity.  Much of the Order’s current focus is upon mobilizing support for our priests among the larger Catholic community. The extraordinary pastoral demands upon the priesthood and the concomitant affect that has upon their capacity to minister must be of concern to us all.  The Knights are committed whenever and however we can to serve our priests, their parishes, and their communities, in promoting the principal of Charity, in encouraging vocations, and in pursuing justice for God’s neediest children. Please call the Council Grand Knight, Rick Brennan Tel 748-3706, for further information about the Order and its goals
