HooahMail:
The Army's HooahMail program makes it possible for friends and family
members to put a paper letter and photograph into the hands of their
loved ones in Afghanistan, in some cases, on the same day it is sent.
The one-year pilot program is scheduled to begin Dec. 1 and makes use of
the Internet combined with physical mail delivery to create a hybrid
mail system that can get letters into the hands of Soldiers in remote
locations much faster than regular mail delivery alone. Family members
that want to send a letter and a photograph to a Soldier in Afghanistan
will be able to log into the program's website at
www.hooahmail.us to type in their message and delivery information.
The HooahMail program is free for family members and friends, and is
available for Soldiers in Afghanistan only.

New Knight Candidates.
Please provide the Form 100 of your
prospective candidate to Jim Cooke or Greg Toler prior to the Council
Meetings. This will allow the committee to review the form
and provide guidance as needed to the candidate.
Bingo
Workers: You are desperately needed by your council. As you
may have read elsewhere in this newsletter your Council donated $94,000
to charity this past year. Although there are almost 300 members of this
council only about 25% of the membership volunteer for bingo or kitchen
bingo. We need your help. It's only one night every 5 weeks in a smoke
fee environment. Many teams are in dire need of help. Please volunteer
for a team by calling
GK Jim Cooke
and volunteering. You only have to work one Wednesday evening every five
weeks. It's great fellowship and a lot of fun. Husband and wife teams
are encouraged to participate in this smoke free environment. Remember
this is how your council earns the money to support all of our
charities. The Bingo and Kitchen Schedule has been posted. (Click
