Anthony “Tony” Llongo passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011. He was a charter member of
the Bishop Peter L. Ireton Council 6189. Tony was 84 years old. He was preceded in death
by his parents, Rosa Giallonardi and Vincent Longo; and his wife of 45 years, Mary Adams
Longo. He is survived by his three children, Christina Walters (Robert) their children, Katie
and Colleen; John Longo (Cindy), their children, Jennifer, Stacy and Danielle; Mark Longo
(Beth) and their child, Megan; and two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jocelyn. Anthony
served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from the University of Richmond, class of 1950. He
retired as a chemist from Experiment Incorporated and The American Tobacco Co. A Mass of Christian
Burial was held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 4400 Beulah Rd.
Interment was at Dale Memorial Park with military honors.

GK Bruce Alt and his wife Chris lost Chris’ mother Laura Cocek, age 90. She passed away, August
3, 2011. Yesterday, she suffered a heart attack and succumbed this morning. She had elected to be
cremated. Laura’s burial will be in Florida beside her husband. Please keep Bruce and Chris and
their families in your thoughts and prayers.
